Multi-manager hedge fund Millennium Management has hired Gregory Starikovsky as a senior portfolio manager in New York.
Starikovsky previously spent more than six years at global multi-strategy hedge fund firm Balyasny Asset Management. There, he was most recently a senior analyst focused on financials and fintech, prior to which he had been an analyst, having joined Balyasny in early 2016.
Prior to that, Starikovsky was an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan between June 2014 and December 2015, having earlier had stints at Moore Capital Management, Eos Partners, and Guggenheim Partners, according to his LinkedIn profile. He has a Bachelor of Science, Finance and International Business, having studied at NYU Stern School of Business between 2010 and 2014.
Millennium declined to comment on the matter.
Earlier in May, Rick Vaatstra joined Millennium as a senior portfolio manager in its London office. Vaatstra was previously co-head of European index trading at Goldman Sachs, having joined the investment bank in November 2012 as an equity derivatives trader. Before that, Vaatstra spent more than six years as a VP at Credit Suisse.
